The Village Hidden in the Sand. Sand is located just south west of the infamous leaf village. Its climate is dry and windy, with it being a desert and all. Therefore, many of its occupants are clustered around the scattered oases found in the country. Konoha is an important trading partner and somewhat vital to their survival.

Takigakure no sato
Also known as the 'Hidden Waterfall Village'. This village is located in the water country, like Kiri. A giant, flowing waterfall obscures the village from outsiders, and only the clever and brave can penetrate it. The village's most prized possession is its Hero Water, guarded by its leader. The Hero Water is a special liquid that doubles the users chakra, but has fatal side affects.

The Hidden Village of Rain is most famous for its rogue shinobi. Many missing nin are found here, but the village itself produces a high number of missing shinobi. Constantly raining, you can find the typical Rain shinobi with a straw hat and armed with poisonous needles. This is also where the Akatsuki hideout is located.
